DRESSAGE COMPETITONS - IN GENERAL
In order to correctly judge riding ability and horsemanship the Czech National Sidesaddle Show 2010 has chosen an „equitation“ type of dressage competitions used by S.S.A. (Side Saddle Association) in England.
It is a collection of dressage tests, which are used for the Side Saddle Association (UK)National Championships at Addington 2010.
It is judged on the general impression and performance of the combination of horse and rider, as is usual in classical dressage competitions, however the rider’s marks are a large proportion of the overall mark. Every rider will be given a written rating by the judges after finishing the equitation test.
JUDGES
There will be a team of judges from England, which is made up of panel SSA judges, there will also be an experienced Spanish side saddle judge . They have many years experience with judging and training sidesaddle riders. All of the judges are also active riders or have ridden side saddle in the past.
