HISTORICAL COSTUMES/ OTHER COSTUMES - optional events
Each rider can decide of choice between the category of historical costumes, or free formation. Riders can take part in both categories, but there is counted only one category in total mark. The rider will choose the category before starting.
A promenade in a park is a free competition, the result is not counted in total rating.

HISTORICAL COSTUMES - REPLICAS
This category is established for riders having replicas of historical costumes. Riding ability is not judged, but quality of the costume and its presentation. In case of doubt, the jury can ask the rider about some historical details relating to the costume. The rider will supply written information about the costume, at the latest 48 hours before starting the competition. This material should contain information (text, pictures) on the basis the costume has been made.
The class is presented in a walk. The horse can be lead by a leader.

The competitors of all groups are competing together in this category.

Saddles and the other riders equipment
All types of sidesaddles are permitted without restriction, including reitgurts. Saddles and the other equipment should not hurt the horse or cause any trauma. Riders up to 18 years can take part in the competition without a riding helmet in which case the horse must be properly secured by a leader older than 18 years.

OTHER COSTUMES - FREE FORMATION
This category is for all other costumes. This is judged on the aesthetical impression and harmony between the rider and the horse, imaginativeness of costumes etc. In this category historical correctness of the costume is not judged and neither is the preciseness and detail of making, use of materials etc. The riders in this category are performing in costume and the horse will be required to walk, trot and canter. The competition is judged according to S.S.A. (UK) rules.

In this category any rider can take part using two pommel sidesaddles. Riders using other types of saddles without the lower pommel and riders using reitgurts will not be allowed to enter the arena for safety reasons.
Every rider up to 18 years = a riding helmet.

A promenade in Stromovka Park
In this event the lady will demonstrate her independence, ability of orientation in landscape, ability of communication and managing stressful situations and perform like a lady all the time. Every lady at a specified time interval will ride four times round the track at a safe pace with respect for visitors to the park. It is up to the riders which costume and strategy they will choose. The costume can be changed during the competition, several times if desired.
Whilst negotiating any hazards etc on the track the lady will be followed by a team of professional and semiprofessional photographers, who will, at the end of the day, choose the lady that most impressed them.
We will attempt to make a record in a Czech book of curiosity in conjunction with „Dobrý den“ agency during this competition and will determine a record in kilometres riding together sidesaddle

For riders up to 18 years a riding helmet is required unless they are being lead - the leader must be older than 18 years, to properly ensure the safety of the rider.
